CESNET is moving into new offices!

Prague, October 20, 2022. The CESNET association, which operates and develops advanced ICT services within the national e-infrastructure for research, development and education e-INFRA CZ, is moving. It found a new refuge in the Telehouse building, which is part of the representative administrative and business location Downtown Dejvice in Prague 6.

The Chairman of the Board of the CESNET association, Miroslav Tůma, cut the ceremonial ribbon in the presence of other members of the management. Most of the employees will have their premiere in the new offices on November 1. CESNET, whose members include Czech universities and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, is moving for the first time in its more than 25-year history. Until now, it was based n Zikova Street No. 4 – in the historic building of the former CTU Rector’s Office building, which is now used by the University of Chemical Technology. The Downtown Dejvice area is located nearby, in close proximity to the metro and a number of bus and tram stops.

“The modern premises, located on the fifth floor of the Telehouse building, are much better suited in terms of size compared to the existing offices, but also in terms of technological facilities, which fully meet the needs of our organization,” says Jitka Vošická, PR Manager of the CESNET association.

For the time being, the official headquarters of the association remains at the original address in Zikova Street.

The new address of the CESNET association:
