Optical fibre amplifiers pertaining to the CzechLight open transmission system developed by the CESNET Association in collaboration with license partner OPTOKON a. s. have been installed in the Jordan Telecom Group/Orange network in the Kingdom of Jordan. Alongside with the Czech Republic, the devices are also installed in the UK, Denmark, Egypt, Slovakia, Serbia, and Ukraine.
The Association has been remotely monitoring parameters of more than 80 devices of the CzechLight family.
