Our colleagues from the Multimedia Department also participated in the ZeMě exhibition at the National Museum. In cooperation with the Institute of Intermedia of CTU FEL, they developed a 4-meter interactive projection wall. "Compared to commonly used large-scale projections, the wall has all the necessary technologies, including projectors, built inside a self-supporting structure while maintaining a small depth, so it is easier to install. Moreover, it is equipped with elements for interaction with the viewer", explains my colleague Bohuš Získal, a researcher from the Multimedia Department.

The ZeMe exhibition explains the topic of sustainability through examples from our everyday lives. In a fun, interactive way, it introduces visitors to different approaches to the environment. Multimedia content in the form of video reports, podcasts, computer games, and videos is presented through an installed projection wall.

Take advantage of the Christmas holidays and come and see the ZeMě exhibition at the National Museum, whose technical design was co-created by our colleagues!

The unique 4-meter-high projection wall for projecting multimedia content was created as a result of an applied research project supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, on which CESNET cooperates with the National Museum and the Institute of Intermedia of the Czech Technical University.
The project "DG - Programme for the Support of Applied Research and Experimental Development of National and Cultural Identity for the years 2016 to 2022 (NAKI II), identification number: DG20P0OVV027 (Presentation and Preservation of 3D Digital Objects in Museum Collections) was funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
